-----------trade paperback, about 6 x 9 inches, Very Good+, light wear mainly to the yapped edges (yapped refers to the edges of the cover which were cut slightly wider and longer than the pages ---thus they overhang ), 47 pages, blue card stock with dark blue lettering and decoration, Very Good+, included is a wee pamphlet/order form (about 3.5 x 6 inches )in the same blue announcing the publication of this book with an even wee-er (one sheet) insert offering other Burns' material for sale by Smith, contents include: many Burns poems, Introduction; Burns' Entry as a Freemason ( 1781 ) - 22 years by Banner and J D Ross, a short comment by H V Morton, Hans Hecht, William Power, James Greenleaf Whittier, A A Thomson, Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Carlyle, et al, ---as well there is a previously unpublished poem by Burns (first line is --- My lord, I would not fill your chair ), any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo
