----------large (small quarto) softcover, a Very Good+ copy with a bit of light wear, signed by both authors, #99 of 100 numbered signed copies, presentation plate to Ontario photographer Leonard Cobb tipped in on front blank endpaper ( Len Cobb ), as well laid in to this copy is an envelope from Ronald Lamont, photographer containing 3 photos of a shop window letting customers know that Len Cobb was on his way to Switzerland to find out all about new developments in photography, in that display is a telegram from Cobb dated 1960, all 3 photos are of the same image, ---the book has 60 pages plus 20 pages of photograph facsimiles of early Kingston scenes and peoples accompanied by 20 pages of corresponding text (so about 100 pages overall ), all 20 photo reproductions are intact, contents include: Preface; Introduction; Kingston Photographers in alphabetical order; Selected List of Kingston Artists; Bibliography; Index; The Plates ( images are: lady ca 1850; man ca. 1850; lady mid 19th c.; ladies from the Graham Family ca. 1860; Princess Street at Wellington St. circa 1890; Ice Storm, late 19th century; Interior of Fort Hendry, ca. 1890; dry dock Kingston 1891 - 1915; Phyllis Lillian Bell 1894; Parlour, 215 Colborne St / Workmen on Ontario St. ca. 1900; The City Hotel ca. 1885; lady with vase ca. 1873 - 6; JimJohnson ca. 1875; Eliza Jane and Thomas Nicholson 1860 - 3; Kingston City Hall 1857; William Sawyer ca. 1870; Eliza Jane Sawyer 1867; Earl Str. ca. 1858; Edwardian lady 1901 - 19; Burning of St George's Cathedral January 1, 1899, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo
